A custom watercolor house portrait makes a beautiful keepsake for a first home, a beloved family home, or a place filled with memories. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming or closing gift for new homeowners.

Each portrait is individually hand-painted in watercolor from your photographs. Before painting begins, we'll gather your reference photos along with any details that are important to you—from landscaping and architectural features to colors or elements you'd like emphasized or simplified.

Each original is painted on professional 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper and signed by the artist. (Mat and frame are not included.)

FRAMING

For an easy, gift-ready option, 8×10" and 11×14" portraits are also available professionally presented with a white mat and warm walnut wood frame.

Your finished portrait will arrive ready to give or display—an especially lovely option for realtor closing gifts, housewarmings, anniversaries, or other special occasions.

9×12" and 16×20" portraits are currently available unframed only.

THE PAINTING

After your order is placed, we'll send you a simple form where you can upload photographs of the home and share any direction for your painting.

Your portrait doesn't need to be an exact reproduction of a single photograph. We can often work from multiple reference images and thoughtfully adjust or simplify elements to create a beautiful finished composition.

Please note: This is a genuine, original watercolor painting created by hand—not a digitally generated or filtered version of your photograph. Because each piece is hand-painted, the natural variations and character of watercolor are part of what makes your portrait one of a kind.

DIGITAL FILE

Would you also like to use your house portrait on stationery, holiday cards, or other personal projects?

For $39, we can professionally scan your finished painting and provide a high-resolution transparent PNG file for personal use. Please select or request this option when ordering.

TIMING

Custom portraits typically take 2–4 weeks, depending on our current painting schedule. The painting itself generally takes about one week once your project reaches the studio.
