Venue Watercolor Painting

You chose your venue for a reason. It means something to you - and will mean every more after your wedding day.

We will paint a custom watercolor painting of your wedding venue based on the elements which are important to you. We'll talk about colors and style before painting to ensure the painting is just as you want it.

When finished, we'll mail you the original painting (unframed) for you to have as a meaningful keepsake. The originals are roughly 8x10" ($225) or 9x12” ($295) on 140g cold pressed watercolor stock.

If you would like, we can scan in your custom painting and remove the white background, creating a transparent PNG file. We can provide that high-resolution image, with the rights for you to use it for personal use for $75 additional. Please request this when ordering if you are interested.

** Please make sure to note... this is an original watercolor painting, not an image made electronically from a photo you provide, as some other companies are offering. Pen and ink sketches are also available, at a lower cost.

...THE PAINTING...

After the purchase is made, we will send a form to collect reference art to what you would like painted as well as any direction that is important to you. We will continue to ask questions as needed before we paint to make sure we are capturing exactly what you are wanting.

In rare cases where the venue or image to be painted is highly intricate or extremely complex, or the job is somehow outside of the normal scale, there may be a slight additional cost due to extra time needed. I will bring up if there is any potential issue before painting begins.

...THE TIMING...

Timing depends on our current workload. The usual turn around is 2-4 weeks. Painting takes about a week, but if our schedule is full, we may not be able to start on it right away. Please request timing before purchasing the listing if time is of the essence for you.

The copyright to our original art is owned by Ivory Isle Designs and we do have the right to reproduce it again in future projects. If you wish, you may purchase the copyright and exclusive rights to the painting for an additional $250.
